 I really like it, but I want a little material in the center to avoid pin wear and drag from the concave of the shoe.
Maybe an extra pin on the outside of the pedal, but I would build one first. The shaft might need to be a super strong ti alloy or steel alloy to avoid having to harden anything.

 I rode this bike like a week ago. It may be a tad front heavy, but it is unnoticeable while jumping, and it is a lot better where a lighter bike is twitchy.

 Weld takes away strength around weld due to fatigue. The front triangle is wasted for anyone who wants to use the bike properly.
